U.S. Marines with the Maritime Raid Force, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct helocast and helicopter rope suspension techniques training with a CH-53E Super Stallion assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th MEU, and a U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21 on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, Sept. 15-18, 2025. The HRST training prepares Marines to navigate difficult terrain and enhance air-to-ground insertion capabilities.
