Hawaiian Humane Society: Give back all year long
The homeless, hungry and elderly are just a few of many in need throughout the year. Often times the less fortunate go without and some are altogether forgotten, like the animals that end up in shelters.
The Hawaiian Humane Society, located in Honolulu, has been rescuing approximately 25,000 animals a year since 1942, and volunteer outreach coordinator Natalie Lukashevsky said the shelter couldn’t function without the help of their volunteers.
