The 1812 Teaching Trunk activities are designed for visitors to see, touch and even try on equipment and uniforms the Marines of that era would have used. The puppet shows start at 12:00 p.m. and will run periodically throughout the afternoon.

| Mother's Day Celebration and Marine Barracks Boston Rededication
10:00 A.M.- 6:00 P.M. - On the final day of Marine Week all Mothers in the Boston area and beyond are invited to come out to a daylong celebration in their honor hosted by Marines. Marines will re-dedicate the Marine Barracks at the Charlestown Navy Yard, honoring Marines past, present and future. The latest vehicles and combat equipment will be on display, the Albany Marine Band will perform and pieces from the Marine Corps Combat Art Collection will be on display at the USS Constitution Museum. There will also be a performance by the Silent Drill Platoon.
