Thank you, Mayor Francis Slay and the City of St. Louis, for an unforgettable Marine Week 2011! From June 20-26, tens of thousands of spectators came out to various locations throughout the city to meet America's Marine Corps. They tested the latest Marine Corps technology; climbed aboard state-of-the-art Marine vehicles and aircraft; witnessed the precision of the Silent Drill Platoon; listened to the sounds of the Albany Marine Band; and experienced the full strength of the Corps' capabilities during combat demonstrations on the Mississippi riverfront by air, land and sea.
