Flying is already complicated but imagine landing a thirty meter long C-130 on a short runway at night. This complex training scenario helps Marine pilots ensure they can get cargo and marines into the fight faster. Lance Corporal Calvin Hilt went to the flight line to find out what steps the Marines take to land in the dark. This story includes soundbites from Capt Michael Yim, Flight Duty Officer, Federal Way, Washington, 1stLt Jeremy Graves, Lead MMT Instructor, Melbourne, Florida.
