BREAKING NEWS! U.S. Marine Corps adopting Army physical fitness test

The Marine Corps will be adopting the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) so both branches can share similar standards. Starting July 1, 2019. Every Marine will be required to run their initial APFT. The APFT consists of a timed two-mile run, timed push-ups, and timed sit-ups. Happy April Fool's Day, from MCAS Cherry Point Communication Strategy and Operations. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt.
