Swim Survival Skills Training (S3T) – Conduct Buddy Assist – Maneuver on to pack (passive victim) #2

Maneuver the victim on to the pack to keep the his/her face out of the water. Rescuer places the arms under the victim’s armpits locking in the waterproof pack as a rescue device. Rescue will then drop one shoulder and roll the victim face up on to the pack. The rescuer will take the victim to safety.
