U.S. Marine Corps Private First Class Alexiander Sigrah, a Kosrae native and an automotive maintenance technician with Task Force Koa Moana 23, is promoted to the rank of Private First Class in Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia, July 4, 2023. “I am excited to be able to go back home and fix a lot of stuff that I’ve always wanted to be involved in helping with,” said Sigrah. The students of the elementary school wrote personal “thank you” letters to the Marines and contractors for building a bridge over and repairing a sinkhole in Carnes Road that resulted in the evacuation and temporary closing of the school on Feb. 4. Marines with Bulk Fuel Company, 1st Marine Logistics Group, team up with sailors from Amphibious Construction Battalion 1 to perform a beach unloading exercise using the Beach Termination Unit, in Coronado, California, Aug. 1-4, 2015.
